In preparation for our readings from Darwin’s On the Origin of Species in a few weeks, have a look at this amazing account of the illustrations his children drew in the margins of his ground-breaking manuscript.

In what way might these illustrations help us think about the cultural/familial contexts that produced major works of Victorian science like Darwin’s Origin of Species?
